Different Ways to Give
Wills and living trusts
One way to support is to include Hope Faith in a Will or Living Trust. You can leave a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or include us in what remains after your loved ones have been taken care of. You can update your Will or Living Trust anytime if your life circumstances change. If you already have a Will, you can add an inexpensive codicil.
charitable gift annuities
Creating a charitable gift annuity is a great way to support Hope Faith and provide for your future. Gift annuities pay you (and/or someone you love) income for life at a rate that will never change. A portion of your payment is tax-free. The payout rate is tied to your age. The minimum age is 60 to receive payments, and the minimum gift amount is $10,000. You can even fund a gift annuity with your IRA (special rules apply).
gifts of securities
Now might be a great time to take advantage of tax laws that encourage gifting shares of stock or mutual funds. Making such a gift allows one a charitable donation for the full market value (assuming is has been owned for longer than a year) and the avoidance of tax on the capital gain. Be sure to transfer the stock directly to us (don't sell it first).
gifts through beneficiary designation
Life insurance policies, commerical annuities, and financial accounts can provide another opportunity for our friends to "lend a hand." Changing a beneficiary to "Hope Faith" will ensure that others might have life though you. Just call your insurance company or financial institution to request a change of beneficiary form. We can be a full, partial or even contingent beneficiary.
Gifts from your ira
Did you know you can make a gift at present through your IRA? As long as you are 70 1/2 or older, you can direct your plan administrator to send a gift directly to Hope Faith.

gifts from your daf
If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), you can make a gift to Hope Faith or make us a beneficiary. Talk to your sponsoring organization for details. If you have named a successful advisor, be sure to let the advisor how much the work of Hope Faith means to you and that you would like your fund to continue to contribute to our work.
